Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, Feat. Conan, Lil Wayne & Tony Hawk

As Conan O’Brien is wont to do, last night on Conan he and the Team Coco team unveiled their recent entry into the Clueless Gamer series in anticipation of the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. Just like when he played Mortal Kombat X with Marshawn “I’m just here so I won’t get fined” Lynch, Conan brought some more celebrity friends to get in on the action. Tony Hawk himself was an obvious choice, but Lil Wayne showing up was definitely a surprise.

After the video got into the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 gameplay, however, it started to make more sense why Weezy was there. He’s in the game! Funny enough, because the remote bit was on both television and Youtube broadcast, even TBS couldn’t clear the use of some of the songs in the soundtrack, inserting Debby Boone’s rendition of “You Light Up My Life.” Funny to think that it’s not just those who make a living on Youtube Gaming that have problems in this area!

As expected, Conan O’Brien was not as skilled as the others at Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. That didn’t stop him from challenging Lil Wayne to a scoring contest, with the loser agreeing to tattoo the other person’s face should they not score as many points in a 2-minute run as their opponent. The score was so close (hundreds of points difference where each scored more than 18,000, an admittedly low total), Lil Wayne had to distract Conan as he neared the end! You’ll have to watch it unfurl for yourself; no spoilers here.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will be out for PS4 and Xbox One on September 29. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are out on November 10.
