Josh Norman, Von Miller will face off in Doom ahead of Super Bowl 50, alongside Conan O’Brien and a special guest.

Becoming somewhat of a tradition, Conan host Conan O’Brien has done it again with yet another Super Bowl edition of Clueless Gamer. After last year’s multiplayer mayhem in Mortal Kombat X, it was certainly going to be hard to top that. Thankfully, Carolina Panthers CB Josh Norman and Denver Broncos OLB Von Miller were on hand to bring the fun to Conan by playing the upcoming Doom game from Bethesda.

The timing was perfect, with Bethesda announcing the May 13th release date for Doom on PC, PS4 and Xbox One earlier today. What better way to celebrate than to jump into a bit of the game’s single-player content, full of bloody monsters to rip up limb from limb? There was a little bit of a tense situation with Von Miller and Conan O’Brien, as the late night talk show’s New England Patriots were defeated by Von Miller’s Broncos during this year’s NFL playoffs. The trash talking was real, comparing how enemies blew up to how Brady blew up against him a few weeks ago.

While things were fine and dandy between the three of them (there was even time for putting on Mink hats, Pinot Noir Clueless Gamer Cooldown break and a Miller Organic Chicken promo read), Conan O’Brien clearly couldn’t keep up. That’s when he invited last year’s delightful Marshawn Lynch to play a little bit of Doom with the guys. Clearly, he either had nothing better to do or really wanted to check out some advanced Doom gameplay. Considering his performance in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, I’m going with the latter.
