Uncharted 4 is delayed by two weeks for manufacturing purposes

Uncharted 4, easily one of the most anticipated exclusive titles for the PlayStation 4, has already seen it’s share of delays. But now Uncharted fans will just have to wait a bit longer to play the latest and possibly final adventure of Nathan Drake.

Shawn Layden, of Sony’s PSN Blog, released a statement saying that in order to meet “considerable” worldwide demand, Uncharted 4 would be delayed two additional weeks, thus pushing it from April into may and now releasing on May 10th.

Layden added:

"We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest. The good news is that the game is phenomenal — we are fully confident that it will be worth the wait and the team at Naughty Dog is eager as ever for you to experience Nathan Drake’s final adventure. We thank you for your continued support for PlayStation."

Uncharted 4 was originally scheduled to come out last year, then pushed to March 18th, then to April 26th until this latest delay. I will always be in the camp of not rushing a game’s release, and this isn’t a huge bug problem nor a big delay, so nothing to get too upset about. Hopefully this really is the last delay and we will get to experience Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End On May 10th for real. Keep tuned to GameSided for all the latest in video game news and views!
