The long-awaited new Xbox One Experience along with Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility is finally coming in a few weeks according to a tweet from Larry Hyrb, aka Major Nelson:

The new Xbox One experience will feature a pretty major system overhaul along with a new dashboard design and include a more social-friendly Community section, an optimized online store and revamped OneGuide with players reportedly being able to start up gaming features up to 50 times faster.

But I think what people care the most about is backwards compatibility. It’s been previously stated that Microsoft plans aim for total backwards compatibility with the Xbox One, but for 2015, it was a hundred titles by then end of the year. IGN does have an up to date list of what games should be backwards compatible starting November 12th:

"A Kingdom for Keflings A World of Keflings Alien Hominid HD Banjo-Kazooie Banjo-Tooie BattleBlock Theater Defense Grid Gears of War Gears of War 2* Gears of War 3* Gears of War: Judgement* Geometry Wars Evolved Hexic HD Jetpac Refuelled Kameo Mass Effect N+ Perfect Dark Perfect Dark Zero Shadow Complex Small Arms Super Meat Boy Toy Soldiers Toy Soldiers: Cold War Viva Piñata Viva Piñata: TIP Zuma"

There are more rumored such as Bioshock Infinite, Far Cry 3 and Dark Souls
. But it still seems like a very mixed bag. No Dragon Age, Grand Theft Auto
, Skyrim or Mass Effect 2 & 3? I hope the backwards compatibility gets updated for Xbox One often because I would love a good excuse to drop my 360 and I pretty much just have games that seem necessary for any such list.
