Rocket League will be arriving for Xbox One on February 17 at a price point of $19.99.

Back in December, Psyonix sparked a wave of excitement within the Xbox community when they announced that their 2015 mega-hit Rocket League would be coming to the Xbox One in the near future. Now, after months of speculation about exactly when the game would drop, we’ve finally got a concrete date, and you’ll only have to wait another week to get your hands on it.

Arriving on February 17 for $19.99, the game will include all of the DLC packs that have released so far on PS4 and PC, offering a range of extras including Premium Battle-Cars and cosmetic upgrades.  The Xbox will benefit from a number of exclusive items such as the Warthog variant from Halo and the Armadillo from Gears Of War, both of which will feature as playable cars. Fizzie from Sunset Overdrive will also make an appearance, and there’s an exclusive Overcharge Rocket Trail, too.

You’ll be getting all of the previous update content, including Mutators and Snow Day, and presumably the highly-anticipated February update (which will include new map designs in the form of Rocket Labs).

Unfortunately, the only downside is that the game will not include cross-play functionality, whereas the PS4 and PC versions will continue to link together in online matches.

If you’re waiting to see what the hype is all about, you might want to clear your schedule next Wednesday. Rocket League is an incredibly addictive multiplayer mashup of racing and soccer, and it deserves all of the plaudits that have come its way since it debuted back in July 2015. We reviewed the game at release, and found it to be one of the best multiplayer experiences on the market.
