After a listing popped up showing the (long-awaited?) remaster ofHalo 3: ODSTcoming out this Friday, May 29th, the officialHalotwitter has said the listing was in error.

It seems that May 29th was merely a placeholder date for theHalo 3: ODSTremaster, as explained today by the official twitter account:
A placeholder release date for the ODST campaign for Halo: The Master Chief Collection was inadvertently listed on the Xbox Store. (1/2)

If you remember, thanks to theHalo: Master Chief Collectionbeing a giant debacle whose online component literally did not function for months after launch, theHalo 3: ODSTremaster was promised as a freebie to anybody who bought and played theMaster Chief Collectiononline before December 19th. As of right now, there is still no release date for theHalo 3: ODSTremaster. Maybe it’ll drop at E3?
