E3 2015: EA Announces Their Press Conference Time

Following the suit of Bethesda, Square Enix and, most surprisingly, PC Gaming, EA has also announced their E3 2015 scheduled press conference time and date. They will be holding their media event on June 15 at 1 PM PDT/4 PM EDT. Just as it has been in past conferences, it is expected to last an hour and should detail in-development titles as well as previously unannounced games.

It’s not hard to speculate exactly what EA will be discussing during their time in the E3 2015 limelight. One can reasonably gather that, based off of last year’s conference, Star Wars: Battlefront, an entry from the Battlefield, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Mirror’s Edge 2, Visceral Games’ extreme sports title, the new Mass Effect title and a chunk dedicated to EA Sports’ massive line of sports simulation games will be making appearances throughout the show.

Hopefully, we see a lot more new content than what we have seen out of EA in the past. E3 2015 could be a good time for them to show off what they have in store, as well as expand on the reach their games deal with LucasArts extends within the Star Wars universe. There would be nothing better for, similar to a cinematic universe, Star Wars would receive its own new form of semi-canon gaming universe. With the power to keep it going for at least 10 years, who knows what EA could pull off in that regard.
