Rocket League Bringing Batman v Superman DLC On March 8
Psyonix will team up with WB Games and DC Comics to bring a Rocket League DLC car pack in time for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Independent developers Psyonix have been careful with their post-launch Rocket League DLC plans, aiming to strike a balance between free and paid content so that all fans can enjoy continued play. Usually,it will be themed content for either a holiday, or planned extras for vehicles and the like. That’s why a team-up with WB Games and DC Comics seems to be a big step for them, as the partnership will bring in movie tie-in content to Rocket League for the upcoming blockbuster film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The reveal comes in the form of a teaser trailer, which slowly reveals a new Rocket League course headed to the rooftops of Gotham City. The Batmobile will be one of the vehicles coming to this DLC set on March 8th, complete with vehicle sound effects that come from the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight films and a goal-scoring effect that looks like the Bat Signal.

While there is not much else known about this upcoming Rocket League content, the “Car Pack” moniker insists on more vehicles joining the set. The Youtube video description also notes three exclusive antenna flags to denote your pledge towards either Batman, Superman or Wonder Woman. I’m hoping Psyonix gets to go very nutty and let players use an invisible vehicle a la Wonder Woman’s invisible jet for the game.
Rocket League is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
