104 Xbox One Games With Backwards Compatibility Revealed

When Microsoft took the stage at E3 2015 to announce that the Xbox One would obtain backwards compatibility with select Xbox 360 games during the holiday season, the most cynical took an extremely sceptical viewpoint. What games, exactly, would be available to play on the Xbox One from Xbox 360? Would we get quality titles at launch, or is this just a PR move to help move consoles during the key holiday months? Today, the Xbox Wire revealed the first 104 Xbox 360 games that will be playable on the Xbox One starting this Thursday, and there are quite a few titles one should not be sleeping on.

For example, the entire Gears of War catalog is available to play on Xbox One, as part of the Gears of War Remastered offer that came with the new release. The same goes with Fallout 3, which is offered with owning Fallout 4 on Xbox One. There are additional titles that will be periodically added (starting in December) that come as part of Microsoft and third-party developers working together to make a great function working. This will include support for Borderlands, Castle Crashers, the BioShock series and Call of Duty: Black Ops.
