E3 2015: Cuphead Looks Like A Classic Cartoon

Microsoft’s E3 2015 conference focused on a number of indie games this year, including Studio MDHR’s Cuphead. In the brief trailer, the game showcased a graphic style which resembles something out of a 1930’s style cartoon.

That’s not an overstatement. Studio MDHR have faithfully recreated the classic cartoon style, with unique characters, grainy visuals, and a jazz-filled soundtrack.
The beautiful hand-drawn graphics are interspersed within a fast paced 2D shooter.
We actually got to see Cuphead briefly at E3 last year, and it impressed us so much that we chose it as our Best Lesser-Shown Game.
No release dates have been announced yet, but Cuphead should be with us in 2016.
