Update: Koei Tecmo has set the video to “private” since the leak…obviously it wasn’t intended to go out today. Fortunately, it has been preserved on YouTube and we’ve updated the link to show the video.

Original story:

Continuing in the joyful spirit of dramatic Pre-3 reveals, we have the following video from Koei Tecmo, makers of Dynasty Warriors…and its Legend of Zelda spinoff, Hyrule Warriors:

Yup, you saw it, that’s Hyrule Warriors on Nintendo 3DS! No release date yet, but we’ll for sure be seeing it at E3 this year, judging by the tag on the video.

Hard to tell yet if there will be significant differences between its 3DS rendition and the Wii U rendition, but we know one thing for sure: two new characters will exist on the 3DS version: Tetra and King…yes, the boat from Wind Waker! And it looks like both characters will be transferrable to the Wii U version of Hyrule Warriors if you own both.

It’s looking to be an exciting E3 already! If you’re curious about Hyrule Warriors after watching this trailer, check out our review of the Wii U version.
