Bungie Teases ‘Destiny’ News for E3
By Annie Lee
After a year of its release, there may be more in store for Destiny as Bungie teased its appearance at E3. Destiny was released last September after months of intense pre-release hype, only to be met with a slew of less-than-perfect reviews. But Bungie is far from being finished with Destiny.
After a string of bug fixes, updates, and two DLCs (The Dark Below and House of Wolves), there are leaks that there might be three more expansion packs coming. Bungie also trademarked “Eververse” last month and it may be possibly related to the Destiny universe.
So we can assume that Bungie sees Destiny as a long-term commitment, and now we might hear more about what they have in store next month.
“And, we’ll see you at E3. That’s right,” Bungie wrote in their Bungie Weekly Update. “You might have seen mention of Bungie this or Destiny that on E3 schedules. We’ll have some things to tease. Wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
Bungie will most likely be at E3 to unveil Destiny‘s third major expansion due this fall, which might be called “The Taken King”. We may also hear more about the “Eververse” trademark and the rumoured item trading feature.
