Rainbow Six Siege Release Date: Coming This October

Just days after it was confirmed that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege would be released within the last three months of this year, it is today that we receive an actual confirmed date. Barring any delays, Rainbow Six Siege will be released, both physically and digitally, on October 13th. This much has been made clear on the Ubisoft Blog, where they have also released a short trailer celebrating their announcement.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Ubisoft announcement without some sort of special edition confirmation, and Rainbow Six Siege comes with plenty of those. Coming to Europe, Middle East and Asia, the “Art of Siege Edition” comes with the full game, collector’s box, Gold Skins Pack to apply to your in-game weapons and an exclusive 120-page Tactical Guide (effectively, a strategy guide for play). The Gold Edition comes with the regular game, a season pass for additional content and the ability to add Tiger Skins to your in-game weapons. Tactical Elite Edition is only available on the Uplay Shop, which offers both the Art of Siege and Gold Editions together. Special Editions of the game to be sold in the Americas is unknown at this time.

Any and all pre-orders of Rainbow Six Siege will give players access to the Closed Beta that will arrive later in the year. Also coming to those that pre-order physical versions through Uplay in EMEA regions is a bonus numbered steel book that will come with the game when it is released.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be arriving on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on the exact same date, as opposed to Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.
