Is Brock Lesnar In Assassin’s Creed Syndicate?

One of the headline stars of the WWE made an unlikely appearance in yesterday’s new Assassin’s Creed Syndicate reveal video.

Brock Lesnar, who also rose to fame during his very successful stint with the UFC, has a selection of distinct tattoos, including one which stretches down the length of his back. A section of the video shows two fighters in the midst of battle, including one who seems to be sporting Lesnar’s tattoo design, whilst also resembling other features of the superstar.

IGN’s readers have also pointed out that his opponent also seems to bare a number of resemblances to Frank Mir, who had two memorable fights with Brock back in 2008 and 2009.

Now, let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. It would seem that these images would be for concept purposes only. Perhaps the designers were taking some inspiration from a unique rivalry, or maybe it was a deliberate addition, to get the community taking?

Kotaku have reached out to Ubisoft for comment, although they are yet to receive one at this time. It seems unlikely, but if this was included by accident, Ubisoft could be set for a few hypothetical F-5’s when Brock’s lawyers get their hands on it. I can’t imagine Frank Mir will be too pleased either.

Either way, despite all of the historical inaccuracies, I can’t help but get excited at the possibility of witnessing the beast incarnate destroying his opponents all over London in 1868. Assassin’s Creed : Suplex City – now that’s a game I would like to play!
