Killer Instinct: Season 3 Release Date Is Set
By Vinny Lanni
Set a Killer Instinct notification on your c-c-calendar for March 29, 2016.
In the midst of all the Street Fighter V news on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One community patiently waited in the background for some hand-to-hand combat of its own. Well, wait no more; Killer Instinct Season 3 has a March 29th release date for Xbox One and Windows 10.
Who are the new additions?
As previously announced, the four names include: Rash from Battletoads, yes I said Battletoads; Arbiter, from the Xbox flagship game Halo (who looks like a destined Killer Instinct character already). And last but definitely not least, two throwbacks in Kim Wu and Tusk.
Killer Instinct continues to be one of the most underrated fighting games on the market. Despite its release all the way back in November 22, 2013 the team at Double Helix Games continues to add a spice of variety every now and then to keep things fresh.

A subtle knock at Street Fighter V, but Killer Instinct has succeeded in giving consumers the best bang for their buck. The free-to-play model and pay-if-you-want approach caters to the consumer while giving them the option to pick and choose where they want their money to be invested in the game, down the road.
Maybe more fighting games should take this approach instead of charging full retail for a bare-bones game? (Dead or Alive 5 did and it works pretty well, with little complaints, but I digress).
Are you excited for Killer Instinct Season 3? Is a Season 4 in the works?
