Xbox Live: Games With Gold March 2016
By Vinny Lanni
Rev up your console, hop on Xbox Live, and get to downloading.
March is a transition month from winter to spring. One thing for certain in March, besides the hot and cold weather patterns here on the East Coast, is four free games available for Xbox Live Gold members.
Leading off, batting number one on the list, is Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments. This, obvious, crime-solving game received solid reviews upon release and is based on six different crime scenes featured in the Arthur Conan Doyle story book.
And, also, exclusive to Xbox One owners, Lords of the Fallen is headed your way between March 16th and April 15th, so be prepared to jump online and download both games between that time frame. Lords of the Fallen is an action role-paying game, released in October 2014, that is sure to eat up 14+ hours of your free time.

As for the little brother, Xbox 360 (playable on the Xbox One), Supreme Commander 2 is free through March 15th, and the open wasteland that is Borderlands is available from March 16th through the 31st.
A decent haul for the month of March, in my opinion. A combined total of $120 worth of free games are headed your way; if any game on this list gets you excited, set a notification on your phone and get ready to play in March.
