Congratulations, you just played yourself…in the new upcoming DJ Khaled video game.

Determination. Focus. Schooling the haters. Water. There are many keys required to become a successful person in this life, and DJ Khaled has made it his mission to share them with his fans the past few years. The infamous producer/recording artist was on Pharell’s OTHERtone radio show on Beats 1, finally making it to the iamOTHER Youtube channel earlier today. It was an insightful conversation that included comedian Aziz Ansari, whom DJ Khaled invited to put in his video game.

Wait, what was that now?

In what is most likely not going to be a variation of Flappy Khaled, DJ Khaled dropped the bombshell like it was nothing (although the editing suggests an artificial conversation starter to plug the project). “Let me tell you something: Kim Kardashian, she said she made tons of money on [Kim Kardashian: Hollywood].”

Aziz followed up with a question about the game. “I’m working on something special,” DJ Khaled replied. “It’s gonna be groundbreaking.” When asked by Pharell what the title of the game was, he replied, “I can’t say yet, ’cause I want to present it right, you know what I’m saying? It’s gonna be a fun game. Everybody’s gonna love it.”

If I was a betting man, I would bet that whatever DJ Khaled is working on is a casual free-to-play mobile game based on the life of an up-and-coming hip-hop or rap artist, with DJ Khaled himself walking you through the tutorial basics at the start. The nod to Kim Kardashian as his inspiration to make the game (you know, the millions upon millions of dollars) is a tipoff, even if the success of her app was fleeting. Who knows; it could be a jetski-based endless runner that involved collecting Snapchat followers as you eat turkey bacon as you water your lion statue.

Should the game be a success, you can expect another one from DJ Khaled in the future. In the meantime, they don’t want you to know anything else about this one until the time is right.
