By Vinny Lanni
Get ready for some more Call of Duty: Black Ops III on February 2, 2016.
Activison announced a February 2, 2016 release date for their brand new Awakening DLC; this date is only for PlayStation 4 owners. Xbox One players will have to wait another 30 days before they get their hands on some new Call of Duty: Black Ops III content.
The new Awakening DLC promises to bring four new maps, one remake of an old Call of Duty: Black Ops II map and another chapter to the popular Black Ops III zombie mode.
In a video package, Activison highlighted each of the new maps.

Guantlet, a multi-environment military map was the most unique of the bunch. Followed by a cool, fun abandoned water park titled Splash, Rise (a tradition run and cover map, on a construction site) and a revamped Hijacked map from Black Ops II.
Also, for the zombie lovers out there, Der Eisendrache is the new location for zombie slaughtering madness. This new map is said to answer questions about previous zombie storylines, but open up a few new ones. The locale of Der Eisendrache is pretty epic: it takes place outside of a dark, creepy thunderstorm-filled medieval castle.
This is the first of four promised DLC releases from Activison. DLC is not popular among many gamers, but Call of Duty always delivers with tons of new content and reasons to come back for more.
