Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 4 Coming In Two Weeks

Telltale Games is certainly churning out Minecraft: Story Mode content at a rapid rate, releasing most of the story in the span of a few months.

When Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 1 was released, at launch there were questions about how Telltale Games would handle the release schedule for the game. With Game of Thrones and Tales From The Borderlands finishing their runs at sporadic times (including a 3-4 month break between Episode 1 and 2 of Borderlands content), one might wonder just what was in store for this narrative adaptation of Mojang’s world-building title. Alas, here we are about 8 weeks after the premiere launch with Telltale Games announcing Episode 4, “A Block and a Hard Place,” will be released on Tuesday, December 22nd.

The latest episode of Minecraft: Story Mode will digitally release, simultaneously, on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, iOS and Android. It will also be unlocked via online update for season pass disc holders. Episode 4 will see Jesse and friends attempt to destroy the command block at the heart of the Wither Storm by traveling to the Farlands and find something they’re looking for.

Interestingly enough, the episode is dubbed as the “Wither Storm Finale” for Minecraft: Story Mode, with a hanging mystery for what episode five will entail. The season finale will come in Early 2016, and if Telltale Games’ release schedule for this season is of any indication, it will likely come out before we see any part of the Michonne mini-series for Telltale Games’ adaptation of The Walking Dead.
