Skull Kid Joins The Battle In Hyrule Warriors Legends
Hyrule Warriors for Wii U successfully brought together almost every imaginable character from the Legend of Zelda series that you could want in a Dynasty Warriors-style hack-and-slash…but the key word is almost. The console rendition was missing one key figure from Legend of Zelda lore, a figure who rightfully should have been in the Majora’s Mask DLC pack to begin with. Fortunately, our pal Skull Kid will be making his debut in Hyrule Warriors Legends for Nintendo 3DS.
Skull Kid’s presence has been confirmed by Famitsu (via Nintendo Life), and will join the fight at release along with Phantom Ganon from Ocarina of Time.
We don’t have high-quality images of Skull Kid of Phantom Ganon yet, though they’re sure to be on their way. For now, you can watch the trailer from the Tokyo Game Show, which doesn’t include Skull Kid or Phantom Ganon, but does include Tetra and King, also appearing in Hyrule Warriors Legends:
Hyrule Warriors Legends releases for Nintendo 3DS on January 21st, 2016 in Japan. A western release date has not yet been confirmed, but will be sometime in Q1 of 2016.
