SCEJA 2015: Toukiden 2 Announced For 2016
At last night’s SCEJA 2015 conference, Toukiden 2 was announced with a trailer. This open world, demon-hunting action game is the sequel to Toukiden: The Age of Demons (a Vita title that came west in early 2014) and will be released in 2016 in Japan for PS4, PS3, and Vita.
Here’s the trailer:
Toukiden: The Age of Demons featured a medieval-Japanese theme where slayers teamed up to fight demons that terrorized the land. Players could group up with one another or with NPCs to tackle stronger and stronger demons, leveling up and collecting weapons and armor as they went. The trailer didn’t include any gameplay and there aren’t too many more details on how Toukiden 2 will differ from the first game; all we can tell from this is that the premise is the same.
