Bloodborne Expansion, The Old Hunters, Announced
During Sony Computer Entertainment Japan’s pre-Tokyo Game Show 2015 press conference, Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida took the stage to open the show with some major announcements. One of the show’s very first was the reveal of the previously-teased Bloodborne expansion, titled The Old Hunters. It will be released on November 24, 2015, although it seemed to be the Japanese release date only. The PlayStation Japan Youtube channel has posted the trailer, showing off some of the weapons at your disposal in the coming DLC add-on.

The Bloodborne trailer mixed both glances of new scenes and bosses from the expansion, in addition to some of the new trick weapons in action. The most prominent new weapon from the set has to be the axe with the spinning circular buzzsaw attached on the end. It’s the fiery beast and the Hunter standing in front of the gigantic clock that seems to be the main mysteries of this trailer, with a lot more to share from Sony and From Software in the days and weeks ahead.
In addition to the expansion, Bloodborne will also see a special The Old Hunters Edition release, containing both the base game in addition to the expansion as a physical boxed set. It will be published for the Japanese public’s enjoyment on December 3, 2016. Again, not much has been made clear about whether or not the bundle will come to international markets.
