Additionally, the almost NBA on TNT crew will be giving not only pre-game analysis, but halftime and post-game analysis now as well. Last year, NBA 2K15 only had Shaq and Ernie on from the NBA on TNT crew and the pregame analysis was a little stilted and offered little in the way of what is the NBA on TNT feel.
The trailer above shows the avatars for Ernie, Kenny, and Shaq being a lot more animated than the previous installment. Which is a much more fun change. The in game analysis is what most excites me. NBA 2K as a series and sports games as a whole continue to get longer load times as they attempt to do more things in game. They have attempted to mask this in many ways. FIFA has offered you a single player practice mode while it loads up. NBA 2K has always offered some form of highlights or analysis while it is loading things in the background.
NBA 2K16 looks to be offering the most robust in game analysis yet from the NBA 2K16 franchise. No longer will you listen to a faceless guy giving you a brief rundown of things you did, but now you will have Ernie, Kenny, and Shaq to entertain you!
It will definitely be interesting to see how this all turns out in game.
NBA 2K16 releases for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 September 29,2015.
