This Week’s WWE 2K16 Roster Reveal Includes The Undertaker

It’s another week, and another opportunity to feast our eyes on the latest batch of roster additions for WWE 2K16, as the game quickly approaches its October 27th release date. This week, the list is a little more conventional than we’ve grown accustomed to, with only a smattering of surprises.

Let’s start with the most obvious additions to the game’s roster this week. Chris Jericho, Curtis Axel, Dean Ambrose, Erick Rowan, Fandango, Luke Harper, R-Truth, Ryback and Santino Marella have all been included as expected.

The new screenshot of Dean Ambrose is particularly impressive, finally ditching the Shield attire from last year’s game. Natalya joins the Divas lineup, and there’s a surprise inclusion for the boss’s daughter and Chief Brand Officer of the WWE – Stephanie McMahon.

The addition of NXT’s Tag Team Champions into the game would have been big news if it hadn’t been (accidentally?) revealed in a video last week, but nevertheless, it’s great to see The Vaudevillians making an appearance this year. Rick Rude has joined the list of legends in 2K16, along with Randy Savage, Sgt.Slaughter and The Rated-R Superstar, Edge. Guardians Of The Galaxy star Batista is also here, and hopefully his Bluetista attire might make it into the game as well (don’t bet on it).

Finally, The Rock is back to lay the SmackDown on his virtual opponents, and if you weren’t happy with the finish to WWE’s SummerSlam event this year, you’ll be able to create your own conclusion in 2K16 as The Undertaker joins the playable roster.

We haven’t seen too many surprises this week but it’s another solid list with a mix of legends and current stars. I’m still hoping for some more NXT Superstars before the list draws to a close, so hopefully they’re saving the biggest surprises till last.
