Project Treasure Renamed To “Lost Reavers”

Bandai Namco has announced that their mysterious f2p dungeon crawler, known previously as Project Treasure, has been renamed to Lost Reavers.

Lost Reavers also received a new trailer this weekend, and some new information about the nature of the game on the official website. Though it’s all in Japanese, a translation from Siliconera details the facts.

First, the trailer:

Lost Reavers is a free-to-play dungeon crawler for the Wii U, involving four treasure hunters who travel across the world in search of “relics”. The relics are hidden in structures both ancient and modern, both of which sport a variety of obstacles and puzzles.

Teamwork and cooperation are key to obtaining the relics, and each character has a specialty that will come in handy for different puzzles. Some areas have bosses that are said to be incredibly challenging, requiring good communication and strategy to defeat.

A Wii U beta will be announced for Japan sometime soon. In the meantime, we’ll have to be content with the snippets we’ll glean from translations. Hopefully, Lost Reavers will eventually make its way west. It could very well be the multiplayer dungeon crawler the Wii U needs.
