With the addition of several important properties to the Disney collection, it only made sense that Kingdom Hearts 3 is taking so long to develop. Kingdom Hearts 3 will see Sora and others discover San Fransokyo after the events of the Big Hero 5 film, with new adventures lying in wait. As you can see from the concept art above, Baymax is back in both a protagonist and antagonist role. We’ll be keeping the story of exactly why that is out of this report, but knowing how Sora’s enemies have operated in the past, you can probably guess for yourself. The concept art was crafted by the game’s director, Tetsuya Nomura.

Hashimoto also revealed that each keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 3 will reveal its own special transformation, dependent on each world you visit.

The Kingdom Hearts 3 Youtube channel posted a message from the producer of Big Hero 6, Roy Conli. You can check it out below. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released on PS4 and Xbox One some time in the near to distant future. No matter when it comes out, the wait will have been too long.
