FFVII: Re-imagined puts Final Fantasy VII in the body of a side-scrolling fighter, reminiscent of games like Final Fight or Streets of Rage. And it looks pretty amazing. This is a fan-project by Singapore-based PD Design Studio, and while they do plan to release a demo of this where you can play as Cloud or Tifa for one level, there aren’t necessarily plans for full release. Keep checking the official website for when the demo will be available. As for the Final Fantasy VII remake, you’ll still be waiting a couple years on that.
