Last year’s PlayStation Experience event (the first of its kind, no less) was a surprise to many. Kind of thrown together rather quickly, a lot of huge announcements were released to the surprise of many. Sony hopes to capture some of that magic once again with the announcement of PlayStation Experience 2015. No longer in Las Vegas as a last minute resort, this year’s event will be held at the Moscone West convention hall in the brisk December winter of San Francisco, CA. You can check out the announcement trailer for the event below.

PlayStation Experience will run December 5th to the 6th this year, offering fans a firsthand look at gameplay demos for 2015 and 2016 video games. Additionally, there will most definitely be another conference highlighting the proceedings, with “a front-row seat for major PlayStation announcements” being guaranteed. Other surprises are included in the weekend event, with light prodding into registering with your PlayStation Network ID for reasons unknown. Finally, the Capcom Cup will be hosting a one-day special Street Fighter event open to all December 6th attendees, with $250,000 in prizes up for grabs.
