Five Nights At Freddy’s 4 Releasing Sooner Than Expected

If you’re a fan of being scared silly by creepy animatronics, you’ve surely followed the news that Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, the apparent finale in the series of terrifying survival horror games at an abandoned pizzaria/haunted house, would be released on Halloween of this year. However, Scott Games revealed to several notable YouTube personalities yesterday that the release date has been moved. Not delayed, though! Instead, we’ll be getting FNAF4 sooner than expected. It’s set to release now on August 8, 2015:

August 8 was the release date of the original FNAF…just last year! Four games in one year is pretty impressive, especially considering their level of polish and incredible success. For those eagerly anticipating Halloween content, don’t worry. “Extra content” will be released on Halloween for those who own FNAF4, though there’s no telling what that might entail. Plus, we’ve been promised a new trailer this coming weekend! Keep an eye out–we’ll have it here at GameSided when it’s released.
