By Fraser G.
Major Nelson has released a number of details regarding Microsoft’s presence at gamescom 2015. Following an impressive E3 2015 press conference earlier this month, the Xbox will take center stage once again for the gamescom 2015 Xbox Briefing on Tuesday August 4th (10:00a ET/7:00a PT).

The event will give us the chance to learn more information about some of the games which were not shown during E3 week, such as Quantum Break, Scalebound, and Crackdown.
As usual, we’ll be able to watch the conference through a variety of different platforms, including Xbox One & Xbox 360, Xbox.com, and Windows Phone.
For those of you who are lucky enough to attend the event, the Xbox booth will be running from Thursday to Sunday for the public, and you’ll be able to get your hands on games such as Halo 5: Guardians and Rise Of The Tomb Raider.
Gamescom 2015 provides Microsoft with a platform to build off their recent E3 momentum, and they won’t need to worry as much about their competition this year, as Sony have already announced that they will not be holding a conference at the event, opting to wait until Paris Games Week on October 27th for their “International Media Briefing”.
Can the Xbox brand gain even more traction as we head into the busy end-of-year period? We’ll find out on August 4th.
