E3 2015: Fire Emblem Fates Coming West In 2016

During today’s Nintendo Digital Event at E3, a new (English!) trailer was shown for the game previously known as Fire Emblem: If. The official English title is Fire Emblem Fates, and it will be coming to the west in all its localized glory in 2016. Check out the trailer here:

Fire Emblem: Fates is actually two different games. Both tell the story of two warring kingdoms, one peace-loving, one glory-seeking, who are fighting for power and control. Each version of the game has you align with a different country and experience that particular storyline. A digital version of the game will be available where the player can choose his or her faction during Chapter 6, and lock in the copy of the game to that storyline. The storyline of the glory-seeking, dark kingdom is more challenging that the other.

Fire Emblem: Fates will be released sometime in 2016, most likely early in the year. We’ll be sure to hear more from future Nintendo Directs.
