E3 2015: A New Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem Trailer
Despite having a new name in North America (Genei Ibun Roku #FE, although the press release insists the name is not final), for all intents and purposes, we got to see new Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem video today. The above trailer was first released during the Nintendo Digital Event, and really brought confusion to people expecting either Shin Megami Tensei or Fire Emblem tropes. (we did get to see characters)

Of those in the new Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem trailer, we got some more formal introductions. Itsuki Aoi looks to fit into the “Lord” type of Fire Emblem role, Chrom will appear with fiery, neon-blue-eyed intensity, Tsubasa Oribe looks to be a lovely protag that players will want to improve their S-Rank with (social links not confirmed), Caeda looks to be some sort of flying unit in fantastical pegasus armor, Toma Akagi and Cain look to be a stampeding duo, Kiria Kurono brings mystery and intrigue to her steely demeanor, Eleonora Yumizuru and Maiko Shimazaki look to be Japanese businesswomen that show up to fight for some reason and Tiki is a cross between Terra and Relm from Final Fantasy VI (but possibly a manakete).
Whatever Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem is calling itself, it will be first released in 2016. Make sure to keep it here with us at GameSided all week, as we will keep you up to date on all the announcements, reveals, gameplay, trailers & more for E3 2015!
