After its announcement at E3 in 2013, it’s high time that we got a concrete Tom Clancy’s The Division release date. Fortunately, it’s here at last via the Ubisoft press conference. Accompanying a detailed gameplay demo, it was revealed that open beta for The Division will start early in 2016, with a full release date for the game of March 8, 2016.

We heard a little bit about The Division earlier at Ubisoft’s conference. Now we have a five minute gameplay demo, with some interesting information to show. Specifically we see a group of players fighting against AI, teaming up with some other players, and exploring the city a little before a bit of a twist near the end. Check it out:

The Division takes place after a deadly disease has caused the United States government and services to collapse. You are part of an elite team of agents trained to operate without orders to reestablish civilization in the wake of the destruction. The Division will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Make sure to keep it here with us at GameSided all week, as we will keep you up to date on all the announcements, reveals, gameplay, trailers & more for E3 2015!
