Featuring a very, very handy set of pickaxes, Rise of the Tomb Raider has Lara Croft in the frozen tundra of Siberian Russia. As we have featured on here before, the game takes place around the lost frozen city of Kitezh from Russian mythology.
We see Lara on an excavation to find the lost city after finding herself a bit after the events of the last game. Piecing all of the trailers and gameplay together from previous Rise Of The Tomb Raider footage, Lara has been searching for a way to get over what happened in the Dragon’s Triangle. Searching for the lost city of Kitezh has given her that purpose and the new landscape new challenges.
Rise of the Tomb Raider finds Lara lost after an initial disaster during the excavation. You see her cutting through a deer for survival. There are bears and other wildlife creatures in the forests around the area. And what would a Tomb Raider game be without a storied twist on how the relics became lost in the first place.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be launching on November 10, 2015 for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
