Electronic Arts opened their E3 2015 conference with a bang, showing off the first real footage of the next game in the Mass Effect series, titled Mass Effect: Andromeda

True to prior statements, the title Mass Effect: Andromeda doesn’t seem to have much relation to previous games in the Mass Effect series, but still retains a lot of familiar elements such as the races and technology present in the series. Check out the first trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda below:
Mass Effect: Andromeda is still a bit of a ways off, not due to arrive til the holiday season on 2016. We’ll hopefully get a lot more questions answered before then. Can you play other races? Does it have any ties to previous games in the series? Will your choices actually mean something this time? The wait for Mass Effect: Andromeda both seems not horribly far off and yet way too far off. Maybe there will be a remastered collection of the previous games in the series to keep us busy? Let’s hope…
