E3 2015: Guerrilla Games Debuts New IP, Horizon Zero Dawn

During the Sony E3 press conference Guerrilla Games debuted it’s new IP, Horizon Zero Dawn, with a cinematic trailer that surprisingly transitioned to actual gameplay.
Following something called “the darkness”, which looks very similar to a global blackout, Horizon Zero Dawn occurs long after a mass extinction event on earth. A female narrator explains this history, “We know we weren’t the first ones here. Our stories speak of the ones that came before, the old ones.”
Hundreds, or maybe thousands of years later Horizon Zero Dawn looks to follow the story of the archaic tribes who fight for survival in a lush, post-apocalyptic world inhabited by strange dinosaur-robot hybrids.
