E3 2015: Wave 2 Mii Fighter Costumes Include Inkling, Mega Man
During today’s Smash Direct, the Wave 2 Mii Fighter costumes were revealed for Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS, featuring several different series. Let’s take a look:
First up is a Mega Man.exe costume for the gunner from Mega Man Battle Network.
From MegaMan X, we have Zero, a swordfighter costume.
Isabelle from Animal Crossing joins as a gunner costume, wielding a…party popper?
Gunners are getting a lot of love this time around. Inkling Boy and Girl costumes will be available for them, as well as a green Squid hat for anyone to wear.
Two new brawler Mii Fighter costumes will be arriving from Virtua Fighter: Jacky and Akira.
Finally, Heihachi from the Tekken series will definitely love to tag in on the fighting game fun!
All of these costumes are available right now, for $0.75 each on a single system, or $1.15 apiece to receive them on both 3DS and Wii U.
Certainly a wide spread of interesting costumes here, with beloved classics such as Mega Man represented, more Animal Crossing (please oh please give us an Animal Crossing on the Wii U), and, predictably, the Inklings. Hopefully this doesn’t mean that an eventual full-fledged Inkling fighter isn’t out of the question sometime in the future!
