E3 2015: Dishonored 2 Brings A New Character & Locale

Arkane Studios took the stage at the Bethesda 2015 E3 Showcase to announce Dishonored 2 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. We don’t have a release date, but the developers say “it’s coming”.

The young heir to the throne, Emily Kaldwin, returns to the game, but this time she’s all grown up. Emily will be a playable character alongside Corvo, and both bring different abilities and strategies to the table.

The game’s setting is getting a big change as well:

"“The empire of the isles is in jeopardy once more when an otherworldly usurper seizes the thrown. You’ll travel to Karnaca, a once-dazzling coastal city on the southern edge of the world, and hunt down new adversaries as you alter the fate of the empire.”"

The developers also took the time to mention that Dishonored 2 can be completed completely non-lethal, just as its predecessor.
