It’s 2015 and Capcom has announced a new Mega Man release. Unfortunately, it’s not a new title or project, but an amalgamation of six different games. The Mega Man Legacy Collection was revealed earlier today through a trailer, showcasing what exactly this bundle will be providing for prospective PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo 3DS owners later this year.

For the price of $14.99, owners of the Mega Man Legacy Collection will obtain the first six numbered Mega Man titles in the NES-era series, but that’s not all. The collection will also contain a new Challenge Mode that mixes gameplay from all of the titles to create a brand new Mega Man experience for both newcomers and veteran players. A museum mode will also take a look back at the history of Mega Man, while leaderboards and video replays will help players improve by repeating what others do throughout each game’s levels.

The PS4, Xbox One and PC version of the Mega Man Legacy Collection will be coming later this summer as a digital download, while the Nintendo 3DS version will head to the eShop this Winter. Digital Eclipse will be using the newly-developed Eclipse Engine to bring each title to HD while maintaining the original vision from its creators of the past. It’s a great show of faith by Capcom that needs to be followed up with, you know, absolutely anything new to do with the Mega Man franchise!
