Xbox Live Games With Gold June 2015: Massive Chalice & More
Not too far behind the PS Plus June 2015 announcement comes Major Nelson updating Xbox fans about what to expect for Games with Gold this June. As noted on his blog, Massive Chalice will be the major get for Xbox One users this coming month. Initially a Kickstarter project for Double Fine and led in creative direction by the infamous Tim Schafer, Massive Chalice is a turn-based strategy game with events of an epic war lasting over hundreds of years.

- Massive Chalice (June 1 – 30)
- Pool Nation FX (June 1 – 30)
Games With Gold June 2015: Xbox 360
- Just Cause 2 (June 1 – June 15)
- Thief (June 16 – June 30)

Again, just like its PS Plus counterpart, it’s a slow month for June in Games with Gold. However, what separates the two services is that Massive Chalice will be free to subscribers on Day 1 of its retail $19.99 launch. You can pay that much to buy the game on Steam or after June, and it’s not currently available on PS4. Furthermore, the timing of Just Cause 2 coming out in the first half of June for the Xbox 360 should work well to complement whatever Square Enix has planned for Just Cause 3 at E3 2015, even though their June 16th press conference will be too late to convince people to pick it up.
