*Spoiler Warning: Do not watch if you want to be remotely surprised.*

Telltale Games has been quite persistent in the released of Game of Thrones episodic content, with Episodes 1, 2 and 3 releasing roughly two months apart. Tales from the Borderlands wishes it could get such a treatment! Regardless, just on time, Telltale Games has made the announcement via press release that Game of Thrones Episode 4, “Sons of Winter,” will launch starting next week. They have also released a trailer, highlighting what you can expect in very explicit detail. I’d watch only if you can enjoyment content that has been spoiled for you (which should be most reasonable adults).

Per usual, this newest episode of Game of Thrones will launch first on PC worldwide, in addition to PS4 and PS3 in North America and Europe, on May 26th. The following day, Wednesday, May 27th, those who own the game on Xbox One and Xbox 360 can expect to download the newest update individually or as part of the season pass. Finally, new updates will be hitting iOS and Android devices on May 28th.

For those like me who will be waiting until the season is over, the positive feedback early on just make the wait that much harder. Just like its HBO counterpart, I’m told that death remains a constant, alliances are being built, subsequent friendships are destroyed, and vile treachery reigns true. The fact that so many of the show actors are coming on to provide their VA talent is a testament to how HBO views gameplay as a viable medium of storytelling. I’m wondering if Telltale Games will eventually start doing Super Shows using Game of Thrones for a possible season 2. That would be an extremely exciting possibility.
