Fantasy Life 2, Next Professor Layton Announcements Incoming
According to a translation of a press release from Level-5 by Siliconera, Fantasy Life 2 and a new Professor Layton game will be announced sometime this year, along with another unknown new project.
Siliconera reports that the company will be making a large announcement during Level 5 Vision 2015: The Beginning, a big event on April 7th. The announcement is for a “next generation major cross-media project.” This project is meant to follow Yo-kai Watch in popularity. Level-5 has been recruiting staff for such a large, new project recently.
Also during the event on the 7th, it seems that Fantasy Life 2 will be announced, along with the seventh installment in the Professor Layton games. The event will be livestreamed.
Professor Layton games are point and click puzzle games takin place in modern London. Fantasy Life is an RPG that revolves around choosing and developing different professions, or “lives” while progressing through the game’s plot. You can check out Erik’s review of it here. Both games are for the Nintendo 3DS.
