PlayStation Plus March 2015 Games Finally Announced

Despite going live later tonight, those working for Sony only just recently released the PlayStation Plus March 2015 slate of games available to those with the subscription-based service. Announced on the PlayStation Blog, six games are available to download across the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita as they become unlocked in the hours ahead.

On the PS4, PlayStation Plus offers CounterSpy, OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood, Valiant Hearts: The Great War and Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee – New ‘n’ Tasty! Odd is the inclusion of OlliOlli 2, as the game was only just released earlier today and is a hotly anticipated sequel to an excellent PS Vita entry. Speaking of, OlliOlli 2 for the PS Vita will also come with a PlayStation Plus subscription, alongside CounterSpy. Finally, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments and Papo & Yo will be available on the PS3.

With a publicly late announcement, many had wondered why exactly there was a delay in letting fans know what was coming to PlayStation Plus. My slim-to-none hope was that Driveclub would ultimately get its stuff in order and release the PlayStation Plus version they promised at E3 so long ago. Although, with SCEE president and CEO Jim Ryan unsure if it would ever be released, there was little hope in that department. Nevertheless, there are some quality titles coming this March, even if they’re not as well marketed as current AAA games.
