Comic Creator Todd McFarlane spoke in an interview withGamer Fit Nationand mentioned Spawn has been approved by him to be included inMortal Kombat X.

Upon being questioned about a possible Spawn appearance in the currently in pipelineInjustice 2, Creator Todd McFarlane said he believes the brand of Spawn must grow to be include in more video game and toy lines. He is in the process of attempting to reinvigorate the character’s brand with a movie he is creating. In the mean time, he does however have a short deal with the developers ofMortal Kombatto include him in their next upcoming title.
Could Spawn be included as a guest character inMortal Kombat X? Ed Boon has previously mentioned there will likely be a guest character from another property included inMortal Kombat X, given the popularity of guest characters inMortal Kombat 9andInjustice: Gods Among Us.
