Former Rare Composers Join Playtonic Games

After announcing the formation of Playtonic Games last week, composed of all former Rare studio developers, there is even more exciting news for fans of classic Rare games this week.

Composers and sound specialists from Rare games such as Banjo-Kazooie, Kameo: Elements of Power, and Donkey Kong Country have now joined the Playtonic Games studio team to provide music and sound for the first game from the studio. Grant Kirkhope, David Wise, and Steve Burke have contributed much to Rare’s history as a game development studio and now will join as members of the music team in this new venture from former Rare studio developers in Playtonic Games.
