The Xbox Wire confirms that the PC version of Fable Legends will be released day-and-date with the Xbox One version, as well as support cross-platform play. “Fable Legends is just the first of the major game franchises from Microsoft Studios coming to Windows 10,” Xbox Wire Editor-in-Chief Will Tuttle explains. “We will have more to share in the coming months.”
It’s great to see Microsoft finally stay true to their word with supporting gaming like Fable Legends on the PC. Between this and streaming Xbox One games on the PC, we can begin to see early glimpses of a more fully-realized gaming ecosystem within Microsoft. Combine this with the fact that Microsoft HoloLens will be supported on all Windows 10 devices, and you begin to realize that the line between consoles and PC’s might not even exist in the near future for Xbox users.
