Ottawa Senators

The Senators surprised everyone once again by finishing third in the division, and their success story was similar to that of the Red Wings – contributions throughout the team. Erik Karlsson was outstanding, however, leading the team in points, goals, and assists.

Mika Zibanejad was the only other member of the team to hit 20 goals for the season, but Kyle Turris, Mike Hoffman, Bobby Ryan, Mark Stone and Curtis Lazar all hit double figures in goals and assists, while Patrick Wiercioch made 36 assists from defense.

Goaltending duties were shared between Craig Anderson and Andrew Hammond, and both put in respectable performances, with Anderson playing the majority of games (47).
