Another excellent year for the Lightning who topped the division. Steven Stamkos led the team’s points tally as usual with 30 goals and 39 assists, but Tyler Johnson was close behind after an excellent year. Ryan Callahan scored 57 points, while Jonathan Drouin was unable to reach his potential.
Defensively, Victor Hedman stood out, creating 39 assists for the team. Jason Garrison and Anton Stralman also had excellent seasons for the Lightning.
Ben Bishop averaged at just over 2.4 goals per game in net, while backup Vasilevsky fared a little worse but finished with a better SV% for the season.
