Montreal Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens were unable to clinch a playoff spot, with a lack of offensive creativity causing problems amongst the team.

Max Pacioretty finished as top goal and points scorer for the Canadiens, and P.K Subban contributed with 42 assists for the season. Notable mentions also go to Brendan Gallagher and Alex Galchenyuk who contributed with over 50 points each. Zack Kassian had a very quiet season, while Alexander Semin was practically non-existent.

In defense, Andrei Markov wasn’t able to rise to his usual high standards. Carey Price, however, continued to perform fairly well, finishing with a SV% of .922, but it wasn’t enough to push the Canadiens into a playoff spot.
