More Lucasfilm Star Wars Games Hitting GOG Today
Remember when Star Wars: Tie Fighter was released on GOG late last year? The DRM-free PC games service promised that more titles would work their way to their website in the near future. That near future turns out to be today, as GOG has announced a second wave of Star Wars games, to be released imminently.

If you’re like me and are hugely interested in the flight craft simulation series, both Star Wars: X-Wing vs TIE Fighter and Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance are making their digital distribution debut today. Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga will also make its first appearance as a download, while Battlefront II, Dark Forces and KOTOR II: The Sith Lords will be released without DRM via GOG.
That’s not all. GOG also claims that this is “barely the beginning,” and that “the wait will be worth it for six great reasons.” I believe it’s safe to say that more great classic Lucasfilm games will be on their way soon, and will hopefully bring pleasure to those who lost their old games to the ether and awaken new experiences for a younger generation of gaming fans. It seems as good a time as ever to shop online for a plug-in joystick.
